Power's out again!
Man, I really hope that they can get this school screwed back together by the time normal classes resume. There's bare wires and broken light fixtures all over the place. Seems like it could pose a hazard to the unsuspecting.

It's really weird not having a cell phone in this city. I'd sort of forgotten how it's like you cease to exist. All of my friends' numbers were programmed in that phone, so it's not even like I can pick up a pay phone and see what's going on. You *need* a cell here in a way that I never did in the States. For one thing, Korea got its address system during the Japanese occupation. The system is 'organized' by area, which seems to work ok for delivering mail, but it's not the kind of thing where you could hand an address to a taxi driver and say take me here, please. You basically need the phone to find your friends, or you'd wander around lost all the time. That's not even to mention the inevitable text messaging, appointment-making, work-nagging, and *gasp* TALKING that goes along with the things.

On the other hand, it's kind of a nice break.
