Phew.
A lot's been happening lately! Let's take it one at a time:

1. I GUESS WE HAVE AN ELECTION.

I heard them talking about it in the lunchroom today -- koreankoreankoreankoreanBUSHIkoreankoreankoreanBUSHIkoreankoreanKERRYkoreankorean. One of the English-speaking teachers asked me who I thought would win, and for the record, 49% of me doesn't know, and 47% of me isn't sure. He said I guess we'll know on November 3rd!, and I got this sort of shiver, like I really don't believe that at all. Also of note: when you tell people that you voted for Michael Badnarik you get the best looks. It's somewhere between a blink and a glaze. Like a glazed blink.

2. I HAD A GOOD HALLOWEEN.

There I am! My nametag notifies others that I'm a member of the MIB's little-known Cute Division, charged with controlling the planet's population of all things adorable. It strikes me that you've got to be prepared for presidential eligibility from birth, basically, so that you don't have any pictures like this to derail your campaign.

3. I AM SOMEWHAT CONCERNED ABOUT TOMORROW.
We've got an all-school presentation. We are woefully underprepared. We were not informed about the schedule of the presentation, because of some sort of 'Korean deal' where none of the full-time teachers help us or talk to us because we are not 'real teachers'. When it comes to division of labor, it seems to me that Koreans jealously guard their territory, lest it be taken from them -- in much the way that the baggers at Safeway snatch the milk out of your hands if you attempt to bag it yourself. Anywhoo, in a last-ditch effort to allow the students to be heard (we're having microphone issues) I taped the play on my laptop microphone, mixed it with some Earthbound music in Audacity, and bunged it all together(WARNING: Deceptively loud mp3. Check your speakers). I can't imagine this being piped over an auditorium PA, but it's not like it's going to be largely understood anyway.

So anyway, trainwreck comin'.
