That was an outstanding weekend.
1) M2 is quickly becoming the go-to club in Hongdae. It's well set-up, ventilated, and they do a fair bit of trance and drum n' bass rather than just the Korean standard remixes of Nelly songs. I don't think the music was quite as good as it was last weekend, but it was still a lot of fun.

2) We tried to watch all 3 extended versions of Lord of the Rings back-to-back-to-back, and I'd say that we almost succeeded. At least, my friends almost succeeded. I kept fading in and out. Note to those attempting the journey: try getting started by 2:00 PM or so. Starting the films at 6:00 really isn't feasible. We had donuts from the newly opened Krispy Kreme in Sinchon, though, which was a very special thing...

3) Our DM made the best spaghetti on Sunday! It was all chunky and had big hunks of ground beef (a rarity in Korea). Also limeade (limes are rare, too). There's something about food being hard to obtain here that makes you crave it night and day. Don't even get me started on salami.
